Biographical Information

Daniel Horowitz working with the legendary Charles Bond of Physician’s Advocates, represents medical doctors in peer review, licensing, employment disputes, partnership disputes and contract negotiations.

In the rare case where criminal charges are “on the table”, Daniel Horowitz is a certified criminal defense specialist (State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization).  Two other members of his affiliated attorney group are also certified specialists.

Daniel is a legal commentator appearing on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and the broadcast news networks.  Daniel has over 200 jury trials ranging from medical fraud defense to wrongful death.  He has taught at the CPDA/CACJ Death Penalty “college” in Monterey, California, lectured at many continuing education seminars and taught trial law at the law school and paralegal levels.   Daniel is a licensed real estate broker and an SEC registered investment advisor.  He has operated a retail business and real estate company and presently has a separate investment consulting business with Meridian Investment Counsel (San Leandro, California).

Daniel works with five other attorneys in a non-partnership association.  Horowitz and two of the other attorneys are Certified Criminal Defense Specialists (certification by the State Bar of California).  A fourth attorney is a former prosecutor (Tom Kensok), who was third ranked in the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s office and a very experienced trial lawyer.
