Biographical Information

Sean Brown is a seasoned trial lawyer with over 15 years of trial experience. Sean represents people who are seriously injured and those who have lost loved ones in motorcycle collisions and other serious accidents, as well as those injured as the result of corporate negligence, sexual assault, dangerous premises, intentional acts, and government negligence. Sean also represents persons charged with serious felonies.

Sean grew up in Kentucky, and earned his law degree at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He began practicing law in 2000. Since that time he has maintained an active trial practice. Sean has tried a variety of personal injury, civil rights, and criminal cases to verdict since 2000. In 2011, Sean attended Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College, a 28-day intensive trial school near Dubois, Wyoming. He was invited to join the teaching faculty of Trial Lawyers College in 2016.

Today, Sean’s law practice covers the State of Alaska and beyond. In his practice, Sean commonly represents individuals who suffered traumatic brain injury and other life altering physical and psychological injuries as a result of another’s negligence. Sean has also represented victims of sexual assault against employers of perpetrators; victims of sexual assault against churches; victims of sexual assault against jails; and victims of civil rights violations and governmental torts who face sovereign immunity defenses.

Sean is admitted to practice law in Alaska, Washington State, Kentucky, Illinois, and as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Alaska. Sean has been recognized multiple times as a Super Lawyer in the area of personal injury and maintains an AVVO 10.0 Superb Attorney Rating.

Sean’s sense of adventure lead him to Alaska from Chicago in 2001. Sean had an opportunity to explore much of Alaska and acquaint himself with Alaska’s Native cultures. Today, Sean resides in Anchorage, Alaska with his family, where they are actively involved in the community and with their church. In Sean’s spare time, you can probably find him skiing or fishing with his daughter or on a hike with his family.
