Adam T. Dougherty

An AV Rated® attorney, Mr.Dougherty was one of only 55 attorneys in the United States invited to travel to Wyoming to attend Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in 2006. Most recently, Mr. Dougherty was part of the first graduating class of the Keenan Ball Trial College in Atlanta, GA. For the length of his professional career, dating back to 1993, Mr. Dougherty has been involved with the justice system, initially working in law enforcement and now in the courts as an attorney. As a trial attorney he has tried a wide range of cases ranging from multiple First Degree Murder cases in criminal court to auto negligence and premises liability cases in civil court. He is also honored to appear from time to time as a legal analyst on Fox News’ On The Record with Greta Van Susteren.

Mr. Dougherty earned valuable trial experience with the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. First, under long time Broward Public Defender, Alan Schreiber, then under current Broward Public Defender, Howard Finkelstein. He then went to work at a high profile immigration law firm in downtown Miami. He was then recruited to go work for one of the premier personal injury firms in South Florida. It was at that time Mr. Dougherty began actively practicing personal injury litigation. Mr. Dougherty is in charge of handling the firm’s complex cases and the personal injury litigation.

Mr. Dougherty has handled thousands of cases and recovered millions of dollars for his clients. He has handled trucking cases, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability cases, slip/trip and fall cases, wrongful death cases, elevator cases and various other types of negligence cases.
