Biographical Information
Attorney Andrew D. Alpert is widely regarded as one of the leading DUI/DWI and criminal defense attorneys in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has advanced training in DUI/DWI law, is an official ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer Scientist, is a Certified Breath Alcohol Technician, and is one of only a few attorneys in the Washington DC metropolitan area who is a Certified NHTSA Field Sobriety Test Instructor. He has represented thousands of individuals charged with DUI/DWI and/or vehicular manslaughter, has had many drunk driving cases covered by the press, (Maryland Independent 9/17/2004; 9/22/2004) and has appeared on national television to offer his legal opinion on high-profile criminal cases.
