Biographical Information

Byron Alfred is an award-winning trial attorney that has obtained several record setting settlements and verdicts on behalf of those who have suffered catastrophic injuries or death. Born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas, one of the country’s premier “Refinery Towns”, Byron has represented clients in several high-profile refinery lawsuits.

In his first five years of practice, Byron has secured over $60 Million in verdicts and settlements for his clients. Most recently, Byron, obtained a $44,370,000 verdict on behalf of the family of a worker that died during a turnaround at the ExxonMobil Refinery in Beaumont, Texas.

During his collegiate years at the University of Houston, Byron was an All-Conference offensive lineman on the Cougars football team. In 2006, Byron’s final season, the Houston Cougars won the Conference USA Championship. Byron remains actively involved as an Alumnus at the University of Houston and proudly supports the football program.

In his spare time, Byron enjoys spending time with his family, giving back to his hometown community, and supporting all things sports.
