Biographical Information

Attorney Corrie Johnston-Sirkin is the founding partner of NOVA Legal Professionals with offices in Fredericksburg, Manassas, and Fairfax, Virginia. Ms. Johnston-Sirkin focuses her practice exclusively on family law and serves clients in Manassas and the surrounding metropolitan areas in the state of Virginia.

Ms. Johnston-Sirkin has experience with all aspects of family law. She handles complex matters involving adoption, alimony, child support, custody, dissolution, divorce, domestic violence, marital property, military divorce, name change, paternity, prenuptial agreements, same-sex family law, spousal support and visitation.

In addition to litigating complex family law cases, Ms. Johnston-Sirkin is experienced with alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and collaborative law.

Actively involved in the legal community, Ms. Johnston-Sirkin authors articles on various family law topics and is a former editor of Dictum, a publication of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. She is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Prince William County Bar Association, the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Education

Ms. Johnston-Sirkin earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Virginia and received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

In recognition of her accomplishments, she has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2016-2020 and a Super Lawyer in 2022; she received a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating for the highest level of professional excellence for my legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards; American Institute of Family Law Attorneys named her one of the “10 Best Attorneys” for family law in 2019-2022; Richmond Magazine named her one of Virginia’s Outstanding Young Lawyers; and she was named a Fellow of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel Fellows.
