Coy H. Browning

Coy H. Browning is the founder and managing attorney of Browning Law Firm, P.A., where he represents individuals and families in personal injury, automobile accident, wrongful death, and insurance dispute matters throughout Northwest Florida. With a background in law enforcement and accident investigation, Coy brings a practical, detail-oriented perspective to every case and is committed to helping injured clients navigate complex legal challenges with confidence and clarity.

Before beginning his legal career, Coy served as a Florida State Trooper, where he investigated more than 1,000 traffic crashes and gained extensive firsthand experience in accident reconstruction, roadway safety, and insurance-related investigations. That experience continues to provide valuable insight in serious motor vehicle accident and injury cases.

Coy earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Since entering private practice, he has built a reputation for responsive client service, thorough case preparation, and aggressive advocacy both in and out of the courtroom. He has successfully recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts on behalf of clients injured in car accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle crashes, premises liability incidents, and other negligence-related matters.

In addition to his legal practice, Coy has remained active in the legal and local community. He previously served as President of the Okaloosa-Walton Bar Association and has participated in numerous professional and civic organizations throughout the region.
