Craig Mitnick has been in the forefront of developing creative theories of liability and creative approaches to litigation that have resulted in positive outcomes for individuals and businesses nationwide. Mitnick is known for his unfettered and vigorous representation of his clients. His portfolio of clients has included over 1200 retired NFL players for possible claims against the NFL for concussion related injuries. Mitnick was involved in the groundbreaking litigation from the onset against the NFL.

His innovative approach to litigation and negotiated settlements in addition to his track record of successful verdicts has gained him national recognition as a leader in the profession.

After earning his B.B.A. in finance from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Mitnick received his Juris Doctor from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Mitnick began his career as an Assistant County Prosecutor in two separate counties in the state of New Jersey. During that time, he also acted as a certified instructor of law and procedure at two countywide police academies.

Upon transitioning over to the private practice of law, Mitnick founded Mitnick Law Office and then transitioned the firm to MitnickJustice LLC. Mitnick has been contracted as an on-air legal analyst for Fox News Channel, Fox News Radio, and CBS. Mitnick is known for his assertive and client-focused approach, often being described as a “gladiator for his clients’ rights”

Craig R. Mitnick is an American attorney, broadcaster and entrepreneur, recognized for his extensive work in personal injury, criminal defense, and complex litigation. He is the founder and managing partner of the Mitnick Justice, located in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Mitnick has over three decades of legal experience and is known for representing high-profile clients, most notably over 1,200 retired NFL players in litigation against the National Football League for concussion-related injuries and traumatic brain injuries.
Mitnick’s legal practice covers a wide range of areas, including criminal defense, as well as Mass tort and class action lawsuits, along with civil privacy violations.

He began his career as an Assistant Prosecutor in two New Jersey counties and also served as a certified instructor of law at county police academies. After moving into private practice, he established his own firm in 1991, focusing on trial and litigation work.

NFL Concussion Litigation
Mitnick represented over 1,200 retired NFL players in the landmark class action against the National Football League regarding concussion-related brain injuries. This multi-district litigation was one of the most significant sports injury cases in U.S. history and was heard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

United States of America v. Dennis Virelli
This federal case involved racketeering, homicide, and conspiracy charges in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and involved mob related organized crime figures.

State of New Jersey v. Fred Neulander
Mitnick participated in this high-profile New Jersey case involving charges of murder, murder for hire, and conspiracy. The case received significant national media attention due to the involvement of a prominent rabbi accused of orchestrating his wife’s murder.

State of New Jersey v. State Trooper James Harney, et al.
This case involved a multi-count; multi-state illegal gambling operation prosecuted in New Jersey Superior Court.

State of New Jersey v. Alonzo Johnson
Mitnick defended a prominent sports figure from crimes involving aggravated sexual assault, rape, and kidnapping. All charges were dismissed against his client.
