Biographical Information

Dan Linebaugh is certified as a specialist in Truck Accident Law, Civil Trial Law* and Personal Injury Trial Law**. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985. Mr. Linebaugh holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications from Youngstown State University. While attending law school, Mr. Linebaugh received recognition for excellence in scholarship and placed among the top oralists in both mock trial and moot court competitions. In 2002, Mr. Linebaugh completed advanced course work in trial advocacy sponsored by the National College of Advocacy at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, MA.

In addition to being licensed to practice law before all Texas courts, Mr. Linebaugh is licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

Mr. Linebaugh is frequently invited to speak at legal conferences, thereby sharing his knowledge with other attorneys and legal professionals.

Mr. Linebaugh is an active member of numerous bar associations, including the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Bar Association.

Mr. Linebaugh also completed advanced course work with the highly acclaimed Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming, where he studied under legendary trial attorney, Gerry Spence.  From 1998 through 2000, Mr. Linebaugh served as president of the East Harris County Bar Association. And since 1998, Linebaugh has served the State Bar of Texas on the Pattern Jury Charge Committee for General Negligence and Personal Torts.

Mr. Linebaugh’s reputation has earned him the privilege of representing clients in BaytownLa PorteMt. Belvieu and other cities throughout Texas and the United States.  Texas Monthly Magazine has named Mr. Linebaugh as a Texas Super Lawyer every year since 2003.  Linebaugh has also been inducted into the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum as a lifetime member.
