Biographical Information
Mr. Smith has published several books in order to help the general public understand their legal rights while entering the insurance and legal world. Readers can find two of these books on Amazon.com, The Ultimate California Auto Accident Handbook and California Motorcycle Accident Handbook, each are highly rated and available in paperback and Kindle format. With his earnest desire to help educate people, Ed has also been a frequent guest on radio and TV in California.
Ed was born and raised in New York native. He found himself settling in Sacramento following his discharge from the U.S. Air Force after serving in An Airborne flight unit from 1969- 1970. He attended UC Davis graduating Summa Cum Laude and then graduated from McGeorge School of Law. After graduation in 1982, he founded his own law firm that exclusively handles personal injury and wrongful death cases.
When not engaged in law, you will find Ed hiking in the mountains of Tahoe, snorkeling in Fiji or Playa Del Carma or reading a great book over a glass of wine. He also loves music, especially rock, blues and electronica.
