Edward A. Ed was born and raised in New York native. He found himself settling in Sacramento following his discharge from the U.S. Air Force after serving in An Airborne flight unit from 1969- 1970. He attended UC Davis graduating Summa Cum Laude and then graduated from McGeorge School of Law. After graduation in 1982, he founded his own law firm that exclusively handles personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Mr. Smith is also a member of the State Bar of California, Consumer Attorney’s of California, Sacramento County Bar Association, Capital City Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
