Biographical Information

Jonathon A. Zitney was born in West Covina, California in 1982. He was raised in nearby Ontario, California, and has lived in the Inland Empire his entire life. Mr. Zitney attended Damien High School and graduated in 2001 with honors. He then continued his education at the University of California, Los Angeles. He graduated from UCLA in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting. Mr. Zitney went on to obtain his Juris Doctor in 2008 from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California. He was the Valedictorian of his graduating class. While at Western State, he was published in the Western State University Law Review and was the recipient of 12 Witkin Awards. Mr. Zitney sat for and passed the California Bar Exam in July, 2008. He received his license to practice law in December of 2008. He was first employed by the Law Offices of P. Timothy Pittullo in 2004, and then continued his employment as the firm ultimately changed to Pittullo, Barker & Associates, LLP. His practice has been devoted nearly exclusively to the area of Family Law, with which he has experience since 2004. Mr. Zitney is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Zitney is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court in the Central District of California and he has argued before the Court of Appeal of the State of California. Since being admitted to the bar, Mr. Zitney has been a member of the San Bernardino County Bar Association, the East West Bar Association (2009-2010) and the California Inns of Court (2012-2013).
