Biographical Information

Jose Andres Rodriguez was born and raised in Puerto Rico and came to the United States when he was 12 years old.  He attended high school in Flagler County Florida, and attended college at the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and minored in Education and Criminology.   Thereafter, Jose worked as a Spanish teacher while also attending law school at Nova Southeastern University.  He graduated with honors in 2003 and also earned recognition  for his community service involvement and his role as a Judge in the Broward County Teen Court and Alternate Dispute Resolution programs.

Jose has been practicing law for 12 years focusing in the areas of  Workers= Compensation, Personal Injury, and Social Security Disability cases. He is also a member of the Federal Bar for  the United States Northern, Middle and Southern District Courts as well as, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th District.

In his personal life, he is extremely involved in the community and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.   He volunteers his time as a Coach with the West Boynton Baseball League, and enjoys  being a mentor in the Palm Beach County School.  As a former teacher he is passionate about expanding Legal Education in the community and is a member of the Law Related Education Committee with the Florida Bar.  He also enjoys helping the community while serving in the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association.
