Biographical Information

Lana Panagoulia is a trial lawyer and mediator who concentrates her practice in family law, civil litigation and mediation.

Lana is recognized as one of Michigan’s leading lawyers in the area of family law. She has been listed in Michigan Super Lawyers and was recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as a Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year for 2012.

Prior to starting her own firm, Lana worked for four judges including interning for a Michigan Supreme Court Justice. Lana also interned for the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Wayne County, Michigan.

Lana has a background in teaching, holding a BA in Communication from the University of Michigan, MAT from Wayne State University with a teaching emphasis in French and Early Childhood Education, and a JD Cum Laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She studied French for a summer at L’ Université Laval. Lana speaks French, Greek and Spanish.

 

Lana has participated as a faculty member at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and lectures on establishing and maintaining positive client communication and holistic practice of law.

She served as President of the Michigan Hellenic Bar Association; President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary of the Washtenaw County Association for Justice.
