Biographical Information

Loreen Burkett is a partner and owner of Weiss Burkett.  She received her B.A. Degree from Albright College in 1985 in Spanish and Political Science and her Juris Doctor Degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 1988.  After locating to Lebanon County, she opened Keys and Burkett firm, which then merged with Weiss Weiss & Weiss to form Weiss Burkett in 2016.  Burkett previously served for fourteen years as a custody conciliator and for sixteen years as divorce master.  She worked as a family law mediator for three years as well, before receiving an additional general mediation certification.  Her service to the Court has included work as a support master and Guardian Ad Litem representing dependent children for twenty four years.  Her private practice is concentrated on representing families and assisting in resolving their conflict, particularly in areas involving custody, divorce, support, paternity, adoption, estates and other related matters.  Burkett founded a custody clinic in Lebanon County and has been the sole instructor in that clinic since its formation, over 20 years ago, providing advice on custody for low income residents.
