Biographical Information
Michael W. Cardamone is one of the leading workers’ compensation lawyers for injured workers in Pennsylvania. As a passionate attorney for injured workers across the state, he has been serving the beautiful cities of Philadelphia, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Reading, Pottsville, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Williamsport, Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Penn State, Lansdale, Souderton, Doylestown, Warminster, Warrington, Northeast Philly, North Wales, Norristown, Willow Grove, Skippack, Hatfield, Boyertown, Dresher, Fort Washington, Upper Dublin, Maple Glen, Chestnut Hill, Upper Darby, and more, for over 25 years.
Though he started his workers’ compensation career as part of a large law firm, he soon realized the setup was not ideal for what he wanted to do. Working with injured workers every day, listening to their ordeals and fears, and seeing how complicated the system was, he knew that workplace injury cases were nuanced and layered legal matters. They required a higher level of dedicated focus and razor-sharp attention to detail that large law firms with divided concentrations just could not provide.
In response, he launched his own boutique firm, Cardamone Law, that’s one hundred percent dedicated to fighting for workers’ compensation and nothing else. Through the firm, Michael Cardamone has helped thousands of injured workers win their injury cases, receive substantial workers’ compensation settlements- some of the largest ever in Pennsylvania. The firm is further buttressed by the well respected veteran of workers’ comp, Paul Silver, an outstanding advocate for injured workers with over 45 years of experience. Deb Mattei, of counsel to the firm, is an outstanding resource for the firm, and has excellent legal writing skills.
In recognition of his services, Cardamone has been given multiple awards, enjoys a stellar rating of 10/10 on Avvo, and served as President of the National Advocates. He is also certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and served as Co-Chair of the Montgomery County Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Committee. He has been recognized by the Best Lawyers of America, S uper Lawyers, Top American Lawyers, and many other prestigious entities. He is rated Preeminent, the highest rating possible by Martindale-Hubbell, the well-regarded legal rating entity for legal ability and ethics.
Attorney Cardamone also appeared as the expert guest on the Ask the Experts radio show, for several years, taking time out of his busy schedule to help educate the Delaware Valley about Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law.
Attorney Cardamone attended St. Joe’s Prep in Philadelphia, then obtained a Philosophy degree at Boston College, before attending Villanova University School of Law, graduating in 1999. He has three children, and enjoys traveling, martial arts, tennis, swimming, and spending time with his significant other, Areen.
