Biographical Information
Mitchell S. Sexner is the founding attorney of Mitchell S. Sexner & Associates LLC, with offices in both Arlington Heights and Chicago, Illinois. A lifelong Chicago-area resident, he earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his J.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Chicago‑Kent College of Law , then began his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted thousands of cases—ranging from traffic violations and DUIs to serious criminal felonies—and maintained a high trial success rate. Mr. Sexner served in roles with the Illinois Secretary of State and Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court, gaining valuable experience with court systems and driver’s license procedures, then reinforced his credentials by gaining admission to the Federal Trial Bar and U.S. District Courts in Illinois, Hawaii, Texas, and Wisconsin. He has appeared as a television panelist and is responsible for more than $40,000,000 in settlements for his injury and medical malpractice clients.
