JD Georgetown Law 1973. Admitted Alabama Supreme Court and all federal courts in Alabama. In 42+ years of practice associated in product liability cases in 25 states.  Past president Alabama chapter ABOTA.   Past president and Warhorse Award winner Southern Trial Lawyers.  Co-founder, Murphy Award winner and past executive committee member for 20 years of Attorneys Information Exchange Group.  Life Member AAJ.   Eleven million dollar plus jury verdicts including at least one in each of 5 decades 1970’s-2010’s.   Specialist in product liability with emphasis on vehicle crashworthiness.  Have also handled airplane, boat and machine product liability cases.   Leading cases:  Edwards v General Motors (opinion affirming judgment established crashworthiness law in Alabama) and Force v Ford (Florida opinion establishing consumer expectation basis for crashworthiness liability, leading to $32.5 million verdict, which was affirmed).
