Biographical Information

Rachel Platt, is a highly respected attorney among her peers and clients. Ms. Platt was selected as a Georgia Super Lawyers in the field of family law in 2014 and 2015 and has been an honoree on the Georgia Rising Star list in the field of family law since 2010, voted by her peers as one of the best young lawyers in the state. She was also recognized as one of Georgia’s Legal Elite in 2009 and 2012 in the area of family law by Georgia Trend magazine. Ms. Platt also currently holds a “Superb” rating on avvo.com.

Ms. Platt graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2000, and obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Colorado, School of Law, in 2004. She became a member of the Georgia Bar in 2004. Ms. Platt is an active member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (Foundation President 2010 – 2011) and the Atlanta Bar Association and also serves on the Advisory Board for the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.

Ms. Platt currently concentrates her legal practice in the areas of family law and special education law.
