Biography

Mr. Lovich is a partner and serves as Managing Litigation Attorney at Stephenson, Acquisto & Colman, the premier healthcare reimbursement litigation firm in the country. He joined the firm in 2005 as senior trial counsel on litigated and arbitrated cases involving healthcare providers seeking proper and full reimbursement from network health plans, self-funded ERISA plans, and governmental entities.

Mr. Lovich has 32 years of litigation experience including 15 years as the chief trial lawyer and managing attorney for the Los Angeles law offices of two of the country’s largest insurance companies.  In that capacity he had direct and primary responsibility for all trials in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties. Since 1995, he has held a Preeminent A-V rating, granted by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named a “Southern California Super Lawyer” since 2011. In 2012, Mr. Lovich was named as a Top Rated Lawyer-Healthcare in the October issues of Corporate Counsel and The American Lawyer magazines.   Mr. Lovich has been responsible for the development, implementation, and presentation of national trial advocacy training programs and has served on national legal audit teams auditing both financial and litigation management requirements for one of the world’s largest insurance companies. In addition to serving as lead counsel on over 40 superior court and federal court trials, he has served as a superior court-appointed arbitrator on hundreds of  judicial arbitrations.

In addition to his trial and litigation work, Mr. Lovich serves as National Legal Counsel to  the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management ( AAHAM).
