Sean A.B. Cole

I am originally from Buchanan County, Virginia, and currently live in Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina.  I am a graduate of King College (1994) and the Wake Forest University School of Law (1997).  I have been in private practice since 1997, having practiced insurance defense for almost three years before switching to representing plaintiffs exclusively in 2000.

I hold “AV Preeminent” Peer and Judicial ratings with Martindale-Hubbell, and have been selected to Super Lawyers for the last ten years and to Super Lawyers Rising Stars for two years prior to that.  I am a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums.  I am a member of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.  I have been the Chief Editor and Automobile Tort Chapter Author for five previous editions of the North Carolina Manual of Complaints.  I have also worked a Superior Court Mediator, Certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.

I am admitted to practice before all state and Federal courts of North Carolina, including the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts.  I have been so admitted since 1997.
