Biographical Information

A member of the Florida Bar since 1976, Theodore L. Tripp, Jr. has devoted the primary emphasis of his practice to the trial of complex civil lawsuits in both state and federal courts. His trial experience includes acting as lead trial counsel in business litigation and land use disputes, and in the representation of land owners, municipal and county governments in multi-million dollar litigation. Ted has represented individuals, banking institutions, developers, contractors and governmental entities in both the trial and appellate review stages of complex civil disputes.

Ted has been Board Certified by The Florida Bar as a Specialist in Civil Trial Law since 1986, and Board Certified in Business Litigation since 1997. He also earned Certification by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate in 1989. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, whose membership is limited to trial attorneys who have recovered over $1 million for a client in a litigation matter. Ted has been, on multiple occasions, named one of “Florida’s Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine, and listed in the most recent editions of Florida Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America, among other publications. Ted has maintained an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell, its highest rating for legal ability and ethics, for more than 20 years.
